THIS POLICY REPLACES 12/ 115.01 95 PO Purpose It
is the policy of this municipality that formal and informal inspections
are carried out regularly in all areas of our operation. Responsibilities The
Chief Administrative Officer or designate is responsible for the overall
operation of the program. The
Chief Administrative Officer or designate will participate in at least one
formal inspection in each department every year. Department
heads / supervisor’s are to participate in at least one formal
inspection every six months in each area they are responsible for. Supervisors
are responsible for directing one formal inspection per month on a job
site that they control and for involving a worker or workers in such
inspections. Supervisors
are responsible for conducting ongoing informal inspections of areas of
their responsibility. Workers
are responsible for participating in and contributing to the inspection
program. Formal
inspections shall be reviewed by management. March
