A
reserve list will be maintained for use in naming streets, areas and
public facilities.
This list will be comprised of names of individuals who have
achieved recognition within Lacombe for their community service or for
provincial, national or international recognition. Any
person, group, or organization is encouraged to submit names for
consideration.
These will become part of the reserve list which Council will
review when determining a name for a street, area or public facility.
When accepting names from the public please have the individual
provide the following information in letter form: ·
Name
of the person being honoured ·
Brief
description of why the individual should be recognized ·
Contact
name and phone number of person submitting letter These
submissions will be held in File 61/146 97 FI. If
any staff member is aware of an individual they feel should be recognized,
or have heard from the public regarding this matter, please submit their
names for consideration.
