TOWN OF LACOMBE

POLICY AND PROCEDURE

WHEREAS on a regular basis Recreation Services is approached by organizations sponsoring fundraising events requesting that the facilities fees be waived or reduced, and

WHEREAS it is recognized that each of these groups are supporting very worthwhile causes, and

WHEREAS the existing facility fee is often a subsidized cost to the user, and 

WHEREAS it is prudent to be consistent from one request to the next, 

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the position of the Town of Lacombe state that any fundraising events be required to pay the full facility fee whether the event is hosted by a local or non-local community organization or a department of the Town
