Rationale: The
Outstanding Culture Achievement Award is intended to recognize an
individual(s) or group(s) from within our Recreation District who have
been awarded a Provincial or National Title or Award. Policy: 1.
Awards will be presented to an
individual or group from within our District who has received
outstanding recognition for cultural abilities 2.
Presentation will include: a)
Framed certificate to acknowledge the particular title or award.
The certificate will be signed by the Mayor and the Recreation
Board Chairman. b)
Formal presentation by the Mayor at a Council meeting. c)
Community press exposure. |
