TOWN OF LACOMBE
BYLAW 300.28

A Bylaw of the Town of Lacombe to amend the Land Use Bylaw No. 300 to remove the reference to child care services within the Home Occupation 2 provisions.  

WHEREAS, Notice of the intention of Council to pass a bylaw has been published in the Lacombe Globe on October 10, 2006 and October 17, 2006, in accordance with section 606 of the Municipal Government Act, and

WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held on Monday, October 23, 2006 to allow the general public to provide input into the proposed Bylaw amendments;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Town of Lacombe, in the Province of Alberta, duly assembled in accordance with the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, c. M-26, and amendments thereto, enacts the amendments to Bylaw 300 as follows:

1. Part 6 - Definitions be amended by correcting a typographical error for the subsection reference for both Home occupation 1 and 2 definitions and that the following words be deleted:

"9.10" 

and replaced with the following:

"9.11"

2. Part 9 - Residential Districts subsection 9.11 (2)(e)(iv) the following words be deleted:

"relating to health care or child care"

3. This Bylaw shall come into effect upon final passage thereof.
