The following represent locations where sign maintenance or placement should be reviewed.
51st Street at Highway 12 (Photo 32)
At this location the Stop Sign may become obscured by the tree vegetation and it should be placed at the crosswalk location. As well, the parking sign is obsolete
Recommendation: Relocate the Stop Sign to the crosswalk location on a taller post such that the street name sign can go on top.

The parking signs along the east side of the highway need replacement.
Recommendation: Undertake a sign replacement program for signs of poor condition.
Highway 12 east of Highway 2A (Photo

The Maximum 50 Speed Sign is being obscured by visual clutter due to the adjacent advertising sign.
Recommendation: Contact property owner to have the advertising sign relocated.
Top mounted parking signs (Photos
35 and 36)
These two photos portray a common problem with the mounting of signs on top of posts. They seem to become damaged due to winding loading or vandalism.
Recommendation: As budget allows, begin a program to replace the many sign installations that use the top-of-post mounting.
