6.6   Noise Target Areas

These areas are where the primary outdoor leisure activities are taking place. While these areas vary depending on the individually developed lot, assumptions are therefore made to encompass all conditions.

The target areas as set forth for residential areas are to be as follows:

Back to Front Lot Homes:

1.50 meters above the rear ground elevation, and 3.00 meters from the center rear of the house, this will represent a person standing in the rear patio area of the yard.

Level Lot Homes (including Sunshine basement lots):

1.50 meters above the rear ground elevation, and 3.00 meters from the center rear of the house, this will represent a person standing in the rear patio area of the yard.

Walkout Lot Homes:

1.50 meters above the main floor level at the center of the rear deck, this will represent a person sitting on an attached deck at main floor level. If the deck size and location are unknown, assume 3.00 meters from the center rear of the house.

Upper Level Balconies:

Any balconies on or above the main floor, excluding walkout homes, are to be addressed individually by the developer while still maintaining the architectural aesthetics of the building.

Multi Story Apartments:

1.50 meters above the rear ground elevation, and 3.00 meters from the center rear of the house, this will represent a person standing in the rear patio area of the yard. Any apartments above the main floor are to be addressed individually by the developer while still maintaining the architectural aesthetics of the building.
