As host of the 1994 Alberta Senior Games, the Town developed an impressive array of first class recreation facilities. At various sites throughout the community, there are 16 ball diamonds, 8 soccer pitches, tennis courts, twin arenas, indoor swimming pool, curling rink, multipurpose community centre, auditorium and meeting rooms. Our Communities in Bloom Steering Committee ensures that these areas are well maintained and landscaped. Over 120 community organizations provide for many recreation and cultural opportunities for all ages whether it is minor sport groups, adult special interest or cultural groups
