Weidner Motors supports Lacombe Regional Centennial Centre project with $50,000 donation

It's hard to come up with a family more closely associated with downtown Lacombe than the Weidner clan. As a boy, young Dave Weidner used the newly-built Lacombe Memorial Centre as a handy, hard-to-miss target for golf balls launched from his front yard across the street. Until a recent move to larger premises along Highway 2A, the Weidner Motors auto dealership stood for decades as a virtual landmark at the corner of 50th Street and 51st Avenue.

Did You Know...
There will be more parking. The new plan allows for 144 spaces, which is slightly more than what was available. A designated drop off area at the front door will make it easier for people to access the building.
