The Edwardian-style architecture of the new Lacombe Regional Centennial Centre will echo the historical theme of the downtown core as it becomes the host for community activities. An open design and numerous windows will make it a bright and inviting place to be whether at the library, FCSS offices or meetings.

An environmentally friendly approach to the quality construction will provide an opportunity for operating savings. These include R40 wall insulation and R4 and R5 windows, using water from roof runoff for toilet and urinal flushing, and using stored water from parking lot runoff to be used for green space watering.
