| MAY 18, 2006 Alberta Minister of Gaming Gordon Graydon, a proud Lacombe native, was a special guest at the Building On Our Story fundraising campaign launch. He came bearing a welcome gift: a $1 million cheque to help cover LRCC construction costs, bringing the Province's total contribution to $1.7 million. Minister Graydon and Lacombe-Ponoka MLA Ray Prins presented the framed cheque to a delighted Mayor Judy Gordon. |
